Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes. Express worldwide shipping is included in all published prices.

Are taxes and duties included?
  • Prices include VAT for EU shipments.
  • Prices include duties/taxes for Switzerland, USA, UK, and Canada only for orders €400+.
  • In all other cases, local duties and taxes are the customer’s responsibility.
How fast is shipping?

95% of orders ship within 48 hours.

If a product doesn’t pass final quality control, it may take up to 3 extra days to remake the item, as everything is handmade.

Do you guarantee the shipment?

Yes — shipping is fully insured against accidental damage or robbery.

Once delivered, the insurance no longer applies.

Are there possible delays?

We are not liable for delays caused by customs, weather, or force majeure.

Do you send an invoice?

Yes — every shipment includes an official invoice with the item value in Euros.

Orders & Processing

When are orders processed?

Our offices are closed on the following dates:

  • December 24 – January 6 (Christmas holidays)
  • August 1 – August 25 (summer holidays)

Orders placed during these dates will be processed once the office reopens.

Can I exchange an item?

Exchanges are possible only for defective or damaged items.

Please contact us before sending anything back.

Returns & Exchanges

Can I return my order?

Yes, you may request a return within 30 days from the day your order is delivered.

Returned items must be unused, in perfect condition, and shipped back in the original packaging.

Are there exceptions?

Yes, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom-made or personalized products (including engravings or special combinations)
  • Gift cards
  • Sale or discounted items (unless defective)
What if my umbrella arrives damaged or defective?

Please contact us within 3 days of delivery and include photos.

We will review your case and offer a repair, replacement, or refund.

How do I start a return?

Simply email us at info@artisanumbrellas.com with your order number.

Please remember that return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Umbrella Use & Care

Are your umbrellas functional or decorative?

Our umbrellas are fully functional and made for everyday use, crafted by hand with premium materials.

Are they wind-resistant?

Yes, but like all handcrafted umbrellas, they should not be used in extreme wind conditions.

We recommend tilting the umbrella into the wind to reduce stress on the frame.

How should I dry my umbrella?

Open it partially or fully in a ventilated area until the canopy is completely dry.

Avoid drying near heaters or high heat sources.

How do I clean my umbrella?

Use lukewarm water and a soft cloth.

Avoid detergents, bleach, or abrasive cleaning tools.

Purchases & Custom Orders

Can I customize an umbrella or cane?

Yes, we offer limited customization, depending on the model.

Please contact us for available options.

Do you offer personalization?

Yes. Engraving can be added to certain models on the metal ring or shaft, depending on the design.

Some items are not eligible for personalization.

What materials do you use?

Our umbrellas are handcrafted using premium Italian fabrics, solid woods, fine metals, and artisanal components.

Do you produce your umbrellas yourselves?

Every umbrella is handmade one by one, mainly on customer order.
